What is Reiki:
Reiki is a complementary non-invasive health approach in which the practitioner place their hands just above or lightly on the recipient, with the goal of facilitating the person's own healing response.
Reiki (/ˈreɪkiː/?) is a form of alternative medicine developed in 1922 by Japanese Buddhist Mikao Usui. Since originating in Japan, Reiki has been adapted into varying cultural traditions across the world. Reiki practitioners use a technique they call palm healing or hands-on healing by which a "universal energy" is allegedly transferred through the palms of the practitioner to a patient in order to encourage healing.

Who Can Benefit From A Reiki Session?
Everyone and every living thing. Reiki Energy healing may be used with individuals of all ages and stages of health and illness. Animals and plants are also very receptive to this type of healing.
What should I expect during a Reiki session?
Reiki is a non-invasive alternative therapy. Remaining fully clothed, you will be asked to lie on a massage table and may be covered for comfort from the neck down. During the hour, you may fall asleep, or may drift in and out of sleep. The experience is very individual. Feeling “totally relaxed” is the most common response. Some report seeing images, colors, having a sensation of “floating” or feeling “out of body.” Subtle energy shifts may be felt, or sensations of warmth. Suddenly knowing the solution or answer to a problem is also a common occurrence. Stress relief and release may follow of the next few days after a session.
How we provide Reiki Sessions.
Reiki can be performed in person or through distance (remote) healings. We perform Reiki in your home and at our locations. Distance healing is a common and highly effective process. Contact us for details and questions.
How Safe Is Reiki Energy Healing?
Reiki energy healing is both natural and safe. It affects physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual health and healing and is a non-invasive technique that can be done either hands-on or hands-off the client. It is based on a caring and heart-centered approach, and it guarantees a unique experience during the healing process.
How Long Is An Reiki Session?
A typical session lasts approximately an hour, however even 10-30 minutes of hands-on or hands-off energy healing can be beneficial.
How often should I have a Reiki session?
A session can be done as often as needed. For those dealing with illness, particularly ongoing or terminal, sessions can be done daily to 2-3 times a week. The goal is to feel balanced, whole, stress-free, anxious-free, and pain-free, whether that need is daily, weekly, or monthly. Maintenance for a happy, healthy individual might be a monthly or bi-monthly visit.
